SCOTLAND 2013
In April 2013 I spent a week in the North West Highlands of Scotland attending a workshop run by the landscape painter David Tress. It was a great pleasure working with David; he is generous with his knowledge and never tired of the endless questions I asked concerning the Neo-Romantics, one of the subjects he is extremely knowledgeable about. David’s paints in the Romantic tradition and working with him encouraged me to attempt to capture elements of the sublime to be found in the Highland landscape.
